The studio
Wild Fox Pilates is at 5-7 Canford Lane, in the village of Westbury-on-Trym, north Bristol. We're a boutique reformer studio running classes throughout the day, 7 days a week.

Getting here
By the roundabout
We're a few shops up from FED and opposite the Grupo Lounge.
Park outside
There's free parking right outside on Canford Lane. It has a 1-hour limit, but that's fine: class is 50 minutes. Westbury Methodist Church, 5 minutes' walk away, has parking 7 days a week with a 3-hour maximum stay.
Racks opposite
Bike racks are opposite the studio, outside the Grupo Lounge. The nearest bus stops are a minute's walk away.
When we're open
The studio opens 10 minutes before every class and closes after the last class of the day, so our timetable is our opening hours, really.
The doors lock 5 minutes after the start of class, so our teachers can look after everyone in the room without distraction. If you need us while the doors are closed, scan the QR code on the door or email hello@wildfoxpilates.co.uk.
Classes run through the day, with early and late slots for anyone working nine to five.
- Weekdays 7am to 8.30pm
- Weekends 9am to 1pm
Advance booking required.
The studio opens 10 minutes before each class and closes after the last one.
What's inside
Everything you need is pretty simple: yourself, something comfortable to move in (no jeans, please) and grip socks. If you don't have a pair yet, we've got you covered.
The reformers
Each with wipe-down cloths at its station.
Water
There's a water cooler, so just bring your own bottle.
No showers
Bring a towel if you want one.
Doors lock after the start
5 minutes in, as we'll already be into our warm-up.
There are cupboards for your shoes and belongings, and a toilet that's just about big enough to change in if you need to.
No steps anywhere
It's straight from the pavement into the studio. The entrance, studio and toilet are all on the ground floor, with step-free access throughout. The toilet itself is a little on the snug side. We just want you to know this before you arrive.
If you have any specific accessibility needs, get in touch at hello@wildfoxpilates.co.uk and we'll always do our best to accommodate you.
Studio questions
Where are you?
5-7 Canford Lane, Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol BS9 3DB. We're right on the high street in the middle of the village, by the roundabout, a few shops up from FED and opposite the Grupo Lounge.
Is there parking?
Yes. There's free parking right outside on Canford Lane, with a 1-hour limit, which works because class is 50 minutes. There's also parking at Westbury Methodist Church, 5 minutes' walk away, 7 days a week with a 3-hour maximum stay.
What do I need to bring?
Grip socks, water and a small towel, as some days it's a hot one. Something comfy to move in (no jeans, please). We'll take care of the rest.
What if I don't have grip socks?
No problem, we sell them at the studio. Please wear them for every class: they keep the reformers clean and stop you slipping.
What if I'm running late?
It happens. Please try to get here 10 minutes before class, especially for your first one. We close the doors 5 minutes after the start so everyone gets a proper warm-up. After that, unfortunately, we can't let anyone in and the class counts as used. If you need to talk to us about a missed class, email hello@wildfoxpilates.co.uk.
Is the studio accessible?
The entrance and the path in are step-free, and our toilet is on the same floor. Unfortunately the doorways aren't wide enough for wheelchair access to the reformers, so if you have specific mobility needs, please email hello@wildfoxpilates.co.uk and we'll see where and how we can support you. More on our accessibility page.
Is there a changing area?
Not a designated one, no, just our toilet, which is just about big enough to change in. We don't have showers either, so bring a towel if you want one. There are cupboards for your shoes and things, and a water cooler (bring a bottle).
Three classes, £39
